SHIPPING TERMS OF SALE:

PO Box orders within Canada will be shipped via Canada Post. Other addresses within Canada may be shipped via Canada Post, ICS Courier, Fedex, Purolator or Canpar at our discretion. By default our shipping comes with $100 insurance coverage.

To add insurance to your package you can use this link to add increments of coverage (https://bncustomfabric.com/products/additional-shipping-insurance), or select the 'Full Value Insurance' shipping amount and we will bill you the shipping and insurance together via PayPal.

Within Alberta shipping is a flat rate $13

The rest of Canada is a flat rate $16.50

Lettermail is available for short cuts and small panel orders but does not include tracking or insurance as an option. Lettermail will only be available as a checkout option if your order qualifies for it.

 

Orders to the USA will be shipped once a week via USPS. The approximate rates are as follows for CL/Swim/Board/Woven. We can fit less FT or Squish in a single package as they are thicker fabrics:

1-2.5m $9.70 USD

3-6m $15.60 USD

7-10m $21.65 USD

Over 10m to be quoted at time of purchase. You will receive a US shipping invoice with the exact amount of your package once your order is cut, these prices are just an approximate guideline.

 

If a package is lost in transit we will put in a claim for any insurable amounts. Once we have confirmed the claim has been approved, we will send you your refund for the insured amounts only (not the full value of your order). To obtain insurance on the full value of your order you must contact us prior to shipping and we will invoice you for the additional insurance coverage. Bare Necessities Fabrics is not responsible for lost packages with undervalued insurance amounts on them.

 

RETAIL ORDER TERMS OF SALE:

Retail fabric is sold by the 1/2m unless otherwise listed. Cuts will be continuous unless otherwise listed. We do not offer fat half cuts on retail fabrics unless prior arrangements have been made. 

Retail orders can be cancelled within 48 hours so long as they have not already been cut or shipped. Our current turnaround is 3-5 business days for retail orders.

You may return any unwashed/uncut fabric within 2 weeks of receiving it. You are responsible for all return postage and only the fabric price will be refunded (not your original shipping). After 2 weeks no refunds will be given. This timeline is based on tracking dates.

Refunds for cancelled orders will be subject to a 5% restocking fee.


Acceptable flaws for fabric by the meter include anything smaller than a nickel (with less than 2 occurrences per meter) and anything within the 4" along the selvedge. Fabric should be a minimum of 39.5" for 1m cuts. Panels should be completely flaw free. If you receive any fabric with flaws you must contact Bare Necessities Fabrics prior to washing it. Washed fabric is not eligible for refund or replacement. Flaw compensation for any issues above these will be on a case by case basis.

Sometimes our inventory is off. If there is an issue fulfilling your order we will reach out to you via email to work on a solution. Please add barenecessitiesfabrics@gmail.com to your safe list so you don’t miss any communication from us. If we can not get ahold of you within a week of emailing we will use our discretion to amend and fulfill your order.

As all fabric is custom printed there may be slight colour and scale variances in the different prints and any subsequent reprints. By agreeing to purchase you accept this possible variance.

PREORDER TERMS OF SALE:

Fabric is sold by the 1/2m during preorders (unless panels or border prints). Width of fabrics and other information for each base can be found here: https://bncustomfabric.com/pages/fabric-base-information

You can choose to pay preorders in full or to split and pay 50% at the close of the preorder and 50% two weeks after. There is a $5 charge for layaway. You will receive one invoice that allows you to make multiple payments. There will be a reminder sent when the final payment is due. If you require any extensions for payment you MUST contact Bare Necessities Fabrics first. Any non-payments or ignoring messages/tags will result in the cancellation of your order and a refund of 80% of the total order value.

Preorders can only be cancelled while the preorder round is still open. Once a round has closed and been submitted to the printer you may not cancel it. You may choose to find someone to purchase your preorder in full from you and ship directly to them. This is done on a case by case basis by messaging the business page. Refunds for orders processed through Paypal will be subject to a 5% restocking fee.

All cuts will be continuous up to 5m when possible.

Preorder fabric takes approximately 8-12 weeks from preorder close date to print and ship to us in store. We require approximately 2 weeks to cut and pack your order. Please also factor in the time in transit for shipping your order to you.

As all fabric is digitally custom printed there may be slight colour and scale variances in the different prints and any subsequent reprints. We will not issue refunds for variances between different printing order rounds.

From time to time there can be supply issues from the printer that may affect your preorder. These issues include but are not limited to image printing errors, short shipped prints or split cut fabrics. If there is an issue fulfilling your order we will reach out to you via email to work on a solution. Depending on the issues solutions may include swapping prints, waiting for reprints or cancelling the affected fabrics and issuing refunds.
